Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day

Originally known as Decoration Day, it began after the Civil War to commemorate the Union and Confederate soldiers who fought and died. Over time, it has evolved to honor all American military personnel who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Many people observe Memorial Day by visiting cemeteries and memorials, holding parades, and participating in various ceremonies. It's also considered the unofficial start of summer in the U.S., with many families taking the opportunity to gather for barbecues, picnics, and outdoor activities.  Happy Memorial Day from all of us at Tradition Creek.
